WSG Tirol loses striker Tobias Anselm, who joins First Vienna FC. The 26-year-old forward brings Bundesliga experience. Anselm played a total of 79 Bundesliga games for WSG Tirol between 2020 and 2026, scoring 16 goals. He particularly showed consistent performances in his first phase in Tirol. The Tyrolean began his career in the youth team of FC Red Bull Salzburg, before making the leap to the professional league via Liefering. The move to Vienna now marks the next step in his career – albeit a step down to the ADMIRAL 2. Liga. Sporting director Didi Elsneg praises the mix of physicality and experience: "Tobias brings exactly the profile we've been looking for in our attack. Great physicality, quality on the ball, and strength in finishing." Anselm himself is also convinced by the move: "The talks with Vienna were very positive from the start and gave me a good feeling. The club has ambitious goals and a clear plan."
